New Aftercare Program in Southern Nevada
Las Vegas Recovery Center (LVRC) is pleased to share that the center will be opening a new Aftercare Program. This is a unique program specifically created for long-term recovery efforts and addiction relapse prevention. The Aftercare Program is a support group forum designated for participants to discuss the issues that they are facing throughout their recovery. LVRC’s Clinical Director, Pamela Rinato, PsyD, LCSW will be leading this Aftercare Program, which will meet at least twice a month. Along with group meetings, this program will also include mindfulness-based therapy and spirituality practices. LVRC is now accepting clients to apply for this program and meetings begin in February 2019. If you are interested in our Aftercare Program, it will be open for anyone who has completed an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) or an Outpatient Program (OP). Our facility will also welcome clients from other rehabilitation centers, participants with a referral from thirty-day Inpatient Programs or others who have completed IOP treatment in the past. Both our clinical and medical staffs support research that has proven that long-term recovery is more easily attainable after one full year of treatment and community reinforcement. At LVRC, we hope that our Aftercare Program will become an essential part of our clients’ efforts to maintain a healthy recovery-focused life. For more information about this new program, please call our admissions office at (888) 224-5513. One of our counselors will be able to answer any of your questions or concerns. Aside from our Aftercare Program, LVRC also has an Alumni Association. The Alumni Association hosts a variety of events, weekly meetings, sends out newsletters and funds a treatment scholarship.
