As the Coronavirus pandemic continues to persist in the U.S., we have taken heightened precautions to continue to provide safe and effective care for our clients at Las Vegas Recovery Center. The well-being and safety of our clients, their families, and our staff are always our top priority. In addition to our existing policies, our staff has received infection prevention and control training, and disinfection of offices and residences are carried out daily. Our staff members are utilizing personal protective equipment items such as masks and sanitizer as we continue to adhere to CDC guidelines.

Addiction to painkillers is spreading and leading to other problems – from doctor shopping to pharmacy robberies to overdose deaths. During the last 10 years in Nevada, per capita sales of Oxycodone surged 366%. Hydrocodone sales rose 233%.
I am encouraged that the US Senate is drawing attention to the important topic of chronic pain in America. As national attention is brought to this issue, I hope that the discussion includes potential dangers of opiate pain medications, and the validity of non-opiate approaches to the treatment of chronic pain. to read more click…
