Our Detoxification program for drug and alcohol addiction begins with
medically supervised detox that safely and effectively cleanses a client's
system of alcohol, narcotics, opiates, methamphetamine and other addictive substances,
while significantly reducing the discomfort of withdrawal.
Licensed by the State of Nevada Bureau of Alcohol and Drug Abuse to
perform level IV-D detoxification, the State's most acute level, Las
Vegas Recovery Center can accommodate the most complex and difficult
cases, including pregnancy, OxyContin, Soma, Vicodin, Lortab and other habit-forming
prescription medication detoxification's.
Under the supervision of consulting physician medical director Mel Pohl,
M.D., FASAM*, our program offers individualized detoxification protocols
which can include the use of Methadone and Buprenorphine for opiate
detoxification. We are Nevada's only private treatment facility fully
licensed by the DEA and equipped for medically managed Methadone detoxification.
